Overview

The American Packaging Machinery (APM) Right-Angle Shrink Bundling Systems support production speeds up to 40 cycles per minute with minimal changeover. Perfect for food and dairy products, such as cartons, ice cream, jellies and jams, peanut butter, oils and salad dressings, and bottles. Also works great for bundling beverages and industrial products - water, juices, milk, carbonated beverages, sports drinks, egg cartons, and pizza boxes.

For consistency, from design to assembly, all engineering and manufacturing are done in-house and are made in the USA. All APM machine components are designed with longevity and reliability in mind. Also, to provide gentle handling for each application, both the product handling and transfer are also handled in-house.

All systems are designed to accommodate options for open sides, natural film enclosure, or complete film enclosure (using positive side seal devices). To provide reduced heat loss and maintain operator safety the APM systems are equipped with a five-inch thick mineral block insulated tunnel chamber. Standard models come with a heavy-duty welded tubular steel frame to provide a solid base and absorb and deflect vibration. If needed, a stainless steel frame is also available.

APM "Intuitive Operator Controls" allow for very easy setup and change over. All inline systems meet the Category 3 and 4 safety protocols. The one piece, solid, hardened steel, bar (fully coated) and the electronic motion controls helps eliminate extra parts and helps to provide a long-life and minimal maintenance. To provide "easy" access to parts for maintenance, the shrink tunnel design mounts the heat source, blowers and motors, at the bottom of the chamber.
